Job summary

Switched On Housing in New Zealand is seeking a detail-oriented administrator to join the Performance team. The role supports our trades subcontracts and manages quality standards across Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu and East Coast from base in Havelock North.

You will work with subcontractors, maintain documentation, and generate reports for monthly insights. Ideal candidates will have strong administrative skills, be self-driven, understand contracts, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail with a focus on timelines and outcomes.
• Experience with trades is advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to self-manage, apply self-discipline and use initiative.
• Ability to understand and interpret contracts, compliance and technical documentation.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good sense of humour while balancing professionalism and a down-to-earth approach.

Responsibilities

• Liaising daily with Performance Partners or Trade sub-contractors.
• Managing the administration of sub-contractor onboarding and offboarding.
• Updating contractor documentation and information, maintaining registers.
• Generating reports to provide meaningful data and insights.
• Processing corrective actions to ensure compliance and timelines are met.
• Analysing documentation and providing information and data for monthly reporting.
