Job summary

Summerset is seeking a confident People Services Manager in Wellington to lead a 7-person P&C team and optimise onboarding, HR self-service and reporting. You’ll shape how people interact with P&C technology with hands-on leadership and a continuous improvement mindset.

You will oversee system configuration and integration, ensure high-quality service delivery, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven HR leadership experience in operations, systems or shared services.
• Strong understanding of HRIS platforms and data reporting tools.
• Passion for continuous improvement and user-centered mindset.
• Ability to juggle priorities and lead change with calm confidence.
• Clear, collaborative communication across all levels.
• Detail-oriented with drive to improve processes.

• Lead, develop and inspire a team of coordinators and systems experts.
