Job summary

Summerset is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator - Payroll & HRIS to join our Shared Services team. This hands-on role focuses on configuring, testing and improving P&C and payroll systems to drive efficiency, compliance and a great user experience.

You will partner with P&C, Payroll, Finance and IT to understand requirements, perform UAT, upgrades and implement practical solutions while ensuring data integrity and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll and HR systems configuration, testing, and controls.
• Familiarity with TechnologyOne and Optima is advantageous.
• Strong data reporting, data integrity and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical systems specialist for P&C and payroll platforms, including TechnologyOne and Optima.
• Configure system changes, complete UAT and functional testing, run upgrades and support new functionality.
• Use SQL to understand data, investigate issues, support reporting and identify fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical system solutions.
• Partner with Payroll to improve processes, data integrity, validation and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and maintain access controls.
