Job summary

Ministry of Justice in New Zealand is seeking a customer-focused coordinator to support People Experience Advice and Recruitment on a fixed-term basis through to August 2027. You’ll help coordinate recruitment, employee experiences and people processes, acting as a frontline contact for managers and staff to ensure timely responses.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administration, coordination, recruitment, HR, payroll, or people operations environment.
• Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience providing responsive customer service, including managing enquiries, coordinating requests, and working with shared inboxes or workflow systems.
• Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications and business systems, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technology.
• Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, employee lifecycle activities, and people services across the Ministry.
• Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees, triaging enquiries and directing requests.
• Provide high-quality coordination, administration, systems support, and customer service.
• Collaborate with Recruitment Advisors and PX Advisors to ensure processes run smoothly.
