Job summary

Sime Darby Motor Group (NZ) Ltd is seeking a People Experience Advisor on a fixed-term basis to support leaders and staff from Mt Wellington, Auckland, with some travel around New Zealand. You will provide trusted advice on employment relations, performance and development while managing HR processes and projects.

The role offers autonomy, involvement in HRIS governance, and opportunities to lead investigations, reporting and capability building within a large NZ-wide business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' HR/People Experience in New Zealand, ideally in a generalist advisory environment.
• Proven employment relations experience and a strong understanding of New Zealand employment legislation
• Experience using HRIS systems, preferably Workday
• Excellent communication skills, sound judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach
• The confidence to work independently while building strong relationships with stakeholders
• Resilience, professionalism and discretion when navigating sensitive matters
• A collaborative attitude, positive outlook and willingness to travel within New Zealand when required

Company : Sime Darby Motor Group (NZ) Ltd People Experience (PX) Advisor - Fixed Term | 12-month Parental Leave Cover

We are looking for an experienced and trusted People (PX) Advisor to join our dedicated Sime Motors PX team, primarily based in Mt Wellington, Auckland. This role will also require occasional travel throughout New Zealand. This 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover role offers the chance to join a collaborative and high-performing People Experience team, supporting leaders and employees across a diverse national business. You'll provide trusted advice on a wide range of people matters, including employment relations, performance, recruitment and employee development, while also contributing to broader PX initiatives and projects. With plenty of variety, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems and driving positive people outcomes.

About the role

This role offers a high level of autonomy, and you'll be responsible for:
