Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is recruiting a Workforce Systems Support Specialist to back the Payroll Stabilisation Project. The role focuses on supporting migration from PSe to Leader payroll and ensuring users are confident with timecards and rostering workflows.

You will respond to queries, help build user capability, assist with payruns, and work with Payroll, Rostering and Training teams to deliver sustainable support post-implementation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in workforce systems, payroll, rostering or related field.
• Experience with award interpretation systems and rostering.
• Strong MS Office skills and technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer support focus.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and user outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support for managers and employees using Mahi ē Taea (UKG Pro WFM).
• Triages system queries and identifies areas for additional support.
• Contributes to system improvements and training materials with the Training Team.
• Supports fortnightly payrun checks and improves customer experience.
• Collaborates with project, payroll and rostering teams to ensure adoption of the workforce system.
