Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Whanganui is seeking a Workforce System Support Specialist to join the Payroll Stabilisation Project. You will provide frontline support to managers and employees using Mahi ē Taea (UKG Pro WFM), ensuring correct use of timecards and workforce processes.

You will triage system queries, contribute to improvements, work with Training, Payroll and rostering teams, and help with fortnightly payrun checks while enabling a smooth transition to business as usual

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification and/or at least 3 years' experience in workforce systems, payroll, rostering, or a related field.
• Experience with award interpretation systems and workforce management processes.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and a good level of technical expertise.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer support and service delivery.
• Knowledge of UKG Workforce Pro, UKG Dimensions, Kronos Workforce Central, or similar rostering systems; Holidays Act 2003 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to managers and employees using Mahi ē Taea (UKG Pro WFM).
• Triage system queries, identify areas needing additional support, and contribute to system improvements.
• Collaborate with Training, Payroll and rostering teams; assist with training materials and user guides.
• Assist with fortnightly payrun checking and improving customer experience.
• Support transition to sustainable business-as-usual support after implementation.
