Job summary

Linfox New Zealand is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager based in Auckland to lead the payroll function and shape its ongoing development. You will drive the delivery of accurate, timely payroll processing while guiding a payroll team and collaborating with finance, HR and IT partners across NZ and Australia.

The role requires 10+ years in payroll, strong NZ legislation knowledge, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading payroll operations in a medium-sized business.
• Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and payroll compliance.
• Demonstrated managerial or supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with payroll systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the payroll team for accurate and timely processing.
• Ensure statutory reporting and filing requirements are met.
• Partner with Finance on tax, legislative and audit compliance.
• Provide payroll reporting and remuneration information to stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and system upgrades with providers.
