Responsibilities

• Assess how payment systems and the ecosystem are evolving and identify implications for Westpac.
• Evaluate emerging payment technologies and capabilities.
• Identify capability gaps and changes required to support future developments.
• Develop recommendations and business cases for investment and readiness decisions.
• Provide specialist advice to senior leaders and governance forums on trends and opportunities.
• Leverage partners and industry forums to inform understanding of future capabilities.
• Identify partnerships or external options to accelerate uplift and innovation.
• Build understanding through stakeholder engagement and thought leadership.
