Fix It Roofing Ltd in Kapiti is seeking a Sales and Customer Relationship Champion to own the company's sales function, handle enquiries by phone, email and website, and pursue new business across Wellington, Kapiti, Manawatu, and Taupo.

This permanent part-time, office-based role includes maintaining customer records, building relationships, managing quotes, and supporting the Office Manager. Excellent communication and a proactive approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or business-development experience, preferably in construction or trades.
• Excellent and confident communication by telephone and email.
• Strong ability to follow up quotations and close sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage telephone, email and website sales enquiries.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate new business and identify opportunities within current services.
• Schedule quotes and coordinate them across the region.
• Prepare quotations with owners and follow through to completion.
• Attend and manage face-to-face sales at events twice a year.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and follow up opportunities.
• Negotiate and close sales within guidelines.
• Develop a practical sales plan with management.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Report on sales activity, results and opportunities.
• Support Office Manager and Roofing Managers with admin tasks.
