Job summary

Health New Zealand Waitematā is seeking a Radiology Relief Scheduler to provide clerical scheduling and administrative support to hospital wards and departments. The role is based primarily at North Shore Hospital but you may be required to work from Waitākere as well, covering multiple desks as needed.

Full training will be provided and the role is mapped to a band 4 level. The successful candidate will have strong clerical experience, a calm telephone manner, and a commitment to patient

Qualifications

• At least 2 years clerical or administrative experience in a customer‑focussed environment.
• Experience in booking and scheduling in a Public Health setting.
• Excellent telephone manner and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Cover reception desks and provide booking and administrative support to the Scheduling Team.
• Work across Waitākere and North Shore Hospitals as required by staffing needs.
