New Zealand Customs Service is seeking a part-time HR Systems and Reporting Analyst in Auckland (20 hours/week). The role focuses on HR reporting, analysis, and payroll support within a dynamic public sector environment.

You will work with HR data, maintain HR systems, and deliver insights to managers and external customers while embracing our commitment to service excellence and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Background in HRIS, payroll and data analytics with experience providing analysis and support to managers.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to write SQL queries, Power BI reports and VBA macros.
• Strong customer-focus and commitment to service excellence through continuous improvement.
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Handle HR related reporting and analysis for internal and external customers.
• Support payroll function and contribute to HR systems management.
