New Zealand Customs Service is seeking a part-time HR Systems and Reporting Analyst in Auckland (20 hours/week). The role focuses on HR reporting, analysis, and payroll support within a dynamic public sector environment.

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled HR data analyst to join our team as HR Systems and Reporting Analyst. This opportunity is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week, based in our Auckland Customhouse.
The HR Systems and Reporting Analyst role reports to the Team Leader HRIS Payroll and Reporting and takes responsibility for completing all aspects of HR related reporting and analysis for both internal and external customers. The role also contributes to management of key HR systems and provides support to the payroll function.

To join Customs in any role you must be a New Zealand citizen or NZ permanent resident.
You must have a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service towards a recommendation of suitability for security clearance at a higher level.
Due to the nature of Customs work, you must have a clear Police record.
The successful applicant will also be required to pass a drug test as well as being subject to random, ongoing drug tests during their period of employment with Customs. (These requirements apply to all successful applicants for roles at Customs and Customs employees.)
