Job summary

Smith&Smith in Christchurch is seeking a Distribution Administrator to support the Christchurch Distribution Centre. This role focuses on processing orders, coordinating freight, and managing inventory and supplier administration to keep customer orders moving and meet delivery commitments.

You will join a busy, collaborative team and contribute to continuous improvement in service, accuracy and efficiency across the supply chain, with a clear focus on attention to detail and excellent customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics, warehousing or inventory administration.
• Experience managing customer orders and inventory.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Strong administration skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Highly organised with ability to prioritise tasks.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative, focused on continuous improvement.
• Commitment to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and manage inventory to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate freight and supplier administration.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with dealers, freight partners and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, accuracy and efficiency across the supply chain.
