Hastings District Libraries is seeking an energetic Collections and Content Services Library Assistant to join our team across all library sites. The role focuses on processing and maintaining library collections and delivering front-of-house customer service with a can-do attitude.

This permanent part-time position is 37 hours per week, typically Tue–Sat, with standard daytime hours and a mix of duties across systems, devices and platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing library collections.
• Experience in a library consortium environment would be an advantage.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Initiative and be able to work in a team environment.
• Professional library qualification preferred.
