Beejays, Tauranga branch, is seeking a motivated Administration & Accounts Assistant on a part-time basis. The role combines accounts processing and day-to-day administration to support the Accounts Department and Tauranga operations. You will liaise with the Taupo team occasionally for training and coverage.
The successful candidate will have prior accounts and admin experience, strong attention to detail, and good time management. Travel to Taupo will be required from time to time.

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administration & Accounts Assistant to join our Tauranga branch on a part-time basis.
This is a varied position providing accounts and administrative support across the business, with a particular focus on supporting the Accounts Department and the day-to-day administration of the Tauranga branch.
You will be based in our Tauranga branch, working closely with the wider Accounts team who are based in Taupo. As a result, some travel to Taupo will be required from time to time, particularly for training and to provide additional support when members of the Accounts team are away.
This position would suit someone with previous accounts experience who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and is comfortable working independently while remaining connected with a wider team.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and process supplier bills and invoices.
Complete accounts payable reconciliations.
Manage supplier statements and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Accounts Department.
Assist with administration requirements for the Tauranga branch.
Receipt goods accurately into the relevant systems.
Maintain accurate records, documentation and filing systems.
Assist with general office administration duties as required.
About You
Previous accounts and administration experience.
Sound understanding of accounts processes and procedures.
Experience with accounts payable and reconciliations.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Confident working independently and managing competing priorities.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and Excel experience and confidence using accounting and administration systems.
Willing and able to travel to Taupo from time to time as required.
