Job summary

ENLIVA PTE. LTD. in New Zealand (Otago) seeks a part-time accountant to keep books accurate in Xero. The role is remote and starts with 1 day per week, with potential expansion for the right applicant.

You will record sales and purchases, reconcile bank and payment accounts weekly, manage payables and receivables, track inventory and foreign-currency transactions, and prepare monthly closings with a simple P&L and balance sheet. GST and payroll duties will be added as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Experience using Xero for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep the chart of accounts tidy.
• Experience with bank reconciliation and financial data entry.

Responsibilities

• Record sales, purchases, receipts and payments in Xero.
• Reconcile bank, payment-gateway and card accounts weekly.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable and supplier invoices.
• Track inventory and foreign-currency transactions with overseas manufacturer.
• Prepare quarterly GST returns in due course and assist with annual filings.
• Process payroll and CPF contributions for a small team and close books monthly.

Enliva is a Singapore-based nutrition company making science-backed products for women in midlife, sold through clinics and online. We are looking for a part-time accountant to keep our books accurate and up to date in Xero. The role is remote, requires 1 day a week in the beginning and may expand for the right applicant.

In this role you will

• Record sales, purchases, receipts and payments in Xero; keep the chart of accounts tidy
• Reconcile bank, payment-gateway and card accounts weekly
• Manage accounts payable and receivable: supplier bills, clinic invoices, payment runs and follow-ups
• Track inventory and cost of goods for products made by our overseas manufacturer, including foreign-currency transactions
• Enliva is exempt from GST for a period. In due course, prepare quarterly GST returns and support annual filings with our external auditor or tax agent (IRAS, ACRA)
• Process payroll and CPF contributions for a small part-time team
• Close the books monthly and produce a simple P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow summary for the founder
