Job summary

Wellington Building Services is seeking an experienced painter and plasterer to join our Wellington team. You will handle interior and exterior painting, gib patching, and prep work, while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Applicants should have 5+ years experience in painting and interior plastering, be friendly and professional with homeowners, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a supportive company culture.

As an experienced painter and plasterer, your customer service and quality finishing is priority to ensure customer satisfaction. You'll thrive in a high energy, customer-focused environment and enjoy working in a team. Dealing directly with home owners means always being polite and professional. Confident using technology as timesheets, prestart assessments and purchases all done via a mobile app is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Interior and exterior paint
• Gib patch and stop
• Prep and finish work
• Assisting building team at times
• Plan and organise yourself day to day to meet agreed budgets

About you

• Qualified with at least 5 years of experience in both painting and interior plastering
• Friendly and professional, presents well
• Confident talking with our customers
• High attention to detail and pride in your work
• Health and safety conscious
• Able to work independently and/or as part of a team
• Full licence
