About the Role

We are looking for experienced painters and plasterers with good leadership skills to join our team in Christchurch. We have immediate starts available working with a great team of people.

In this position you will be leading a team working on a variety of residential and commercial projects across the region. With a focus on high-quality workmanship, you will be responsible for ensuring that all jobs are completed to the client's satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces


• Cutting in and edging around trims, windows and doors


• Mixing and applying paints and coatings


• Completing all work to a high standard


• Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment


• Communicating effectively with clients and team members


• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

• Prior experience as a Painter or Foreman in the industry


• Strong leadership skills


• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently


• Good eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team


• Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and locations


• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation


• Valid Site Safe & EWP required for some jobs
