Job summary

Maritime NZ is recruiting a PMSP Coordinator to keep the Pacific Maritime Safety Programme running smoothly, coordinating activities and providing administrative support to ensure timely delivery. You will work with internal teams and external partners to plan, report and communicate progress across the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programmes, governance, and reporting processes.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Experience supporting financial tracking, reporting or budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage information accurately.
• Confidence working with a range of stakeholders, including external partners.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to improve systems and processes.
• Experience with international or Pacific programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programme activities, meetings and events, including travel and logistics.
• Support governance by preparing agendas, papers and recording actions.
• Maintain accurate programme documentation and information systems.
• Track budgets and support financial reporting.
• Monitor programme progress, risks and milestones.
• Support communication across internal teams and external partners, including Pacific stakeholders.
• Continuously improve systems to support efficient programme delivery.
