The Partnerships and Engagement Group leads a coordinated, organisation‑wide approach to growing strategic partnerships and relationships in the Maritime sector and across Maritime NZ through functions including engagement, guidance, education, and communications.
Within this, the Engagement team leads domestic and international engagement coordination and capability‑building, including in the Pacific. Within this, the Pacific Maritime Safety Programme (PMSP) supports maritime safety capability across the Pacific, working in partnership with Pacific Island countries to deliver practical, sustainable improvements.

This role is all about keeping a complex international programme running smoothly. As the PMSP Coordinator, you will provide essential coordination and administrative support to ensure programme activities are well organised, on track and effectively delivered.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, supporting everything from logistics and planning through to reporting and programme communications.

Please note: This role is a fixed term contract until 30 June 2031.

Salary range $75,790 - $92,064 depending on skills and experience + superannuation.
