Job summary

Harikoa Service in Aidenfield, Christchurch, seeks an experienced Support Worker for wakeover shifts to assist one resident with Type 1 diabetes, monitoring BSL overnight and ensuring health and safety.

You will also support evening and morning routines, personal care, medication administration, and light household tasks while encouraging independence and personal growth in a warm home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in support work or care is preferred.
• Ability to monitor health needs and respond calmly at night.
• Willingness to implement boundaries and support personal development.

• Overnight blood glucose monitoring and response to readings.
