Job summary

Hōhepa Canterbury is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for Pīwakawaka Service in Christchurch. You will assist individuals with autism in daily routines, provide personal care, help with cooking and medications, and support integration into the wider community.

Experience is not required as on-the-job training is provided; a NZ full driver’s licence is essential. Rostered shifts offer predictable hours within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• NZ full driver’s licence is required.
• Ability to work in New Zealand is required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and encourage independence to develop skills and personal growth.
• Provide personal care support, assist with cooking, medication administration and household tasks.
• Support and enable access to the wider community and participation in activities.
