Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern in Dunedin seeks a Coordinated Clinics Facilitator and Administration Team Lead to provide leadership to a high‑performing outpatient reception team and support the Charge Nurse Manager across the Dunedin hospital outpatient building and other sites.

You will lead reception staff, oversee recruitment and onboarding, and drive workflow improvements while collaborating with clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery within tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive administration experience with a customer service focus.
• High level of motivation, initiative and anticipation with the ability to work independently as well as leading a team.
• Ability to use initiative, recommend and implement change.
• Experience in using a wide range of information technology tools.
• Demonstrated competence in performing and delivering under tight financial constraints and within strict timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of reception administration professionals.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance development, leave planning, and staff wellbeing of reception staff.
• Support the Charge Nurse Manager - Co-ordinated Clinics with reporting, HR administration, and operational coordination.
• Drive workflow improvements and service innovation.
• Working collaboratively with clinical teams, administration team leaders, planned care, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Assisting in monitoring service performance and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Overseeing clinic-related purchasing of administration resources.
