Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Operations Excellence Partner to drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and technology-enabled improvements across Australia and New Zealand. You will partner with leaders and frontline teams to identify waste, solve root causes, and deploy the Maersk Lean Operating System with measurable outcomes and sustainable value creation.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL.
• Hands-on automation or data-driven improvement experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, CI, and Operational Excellence methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive deployment and maturity of the Maersk Lean Operating System across ANZ.
• Lead improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and problem-solving methods.
• Partner with leaders and frontline teams to identify opportunities and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Translate operational needs into practical, scalable, tech-enabled solutions.
• Build CI capability through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive the deployment, adoption, and maturity of the Maersk Lean Operating System across Australia and New Zealand
• Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Partner with business leaders and frontline teams to identify improvement opportunities, address complex operational challenges, and deliver measurable outcomes
• Translate operational needs into practical, scalable, and technology-enabled solutions
• Build continuous improvement capability through coaching, training, facilitation, and knowledge sharing
• Support the adoption of new processes and ways of working to ensure sustainable business outcomes and long‑term value realisation
• Leverage automation, data, digital tools, and AI to improve operational visibility, eliminate manual effort, and scale successful solutions

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Strong experience within logistics, supply chain, transportation, freight forwarding, or the 3PL industry
• Hands‑on experience delivering automation, digital transformation, or data-driven improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, with demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to deliver measurable operational improvements。
• The ability to analyze operational challenges and translate them into practical, technology-enabled solutions
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, facilitation, and change leadership skills
• A collaborative and people‑focused approach, with the ability to engage both business leaders and frontline teams
• A genuine passion for transformation and delivering tangible, sustainable business impact
