Job summary

Higgins is looking for an experienced Operator to join the asphalt surfacing crew in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. You will operate paving plant and help deliver safe, high-quality asphalt work in a team.

Permanent role with guaranteed 40 hours per week, with competitive hourly rate. The company also offers KiwiSaver employer contribution up to 4% and opportunities to upskill and gain further licenses, plus retail and fuel discounts for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver licence with Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsements.
• Experience operating paving or specialist asphalt plant.
• Good understanding of asphalt paving and surfacing.
• Able to follow plans, specifications and quality requirements.
• Practical, reliable and safety focused; good team player.
