Job summary

Arnott's Group in Newmarket, Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking Operations Team Members for the Afternoon Shift at our Avondale site. You will support production and packaging operations, perform ingredient preparation, machine operation, packing, line changeovers, cleaning, and continuous improvement while upholding safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, production, or packaging environments preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow procedures with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with ingredient preparation, line setup, changeovers, and packing activities
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Complete production records and quality checks accurately
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
• Support end-of-shift cleaning and housekeeping activities
