Job summary

The Arnott's Group in Avondale Auckland is seeking reliable Operations Team Members for the Afternoon Shift. This hands-on role supports production and packaging operations, helping deliver high-quality products safely and efficiently.

You will work with a collaborative team, handle material prep, machine operation, line changeovers, cleaning, and continuous improvement activities, all while upholding safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, production, or packaging environments is preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to complete production documentation.
• Flexible and capable of working across different areas of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with ingredient preparation, line setup, changeovers, and packing activities
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Complete production records and quality checks accurately
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
• Support end-of-shift cleaning and housekeeping activities

We are seeking Operations Team Members to join our Afternoon Shift team at our Avondale site. This hands-on role supports all aspects of production and packaging operations, helping us deliver high-quality products safely and efficiently.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll be involved in material preparation, machine operation, packing, line changeovers, cleaning, and continuous improvement activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and food safety.
