Job summary

Asset Recruitment in Te Awamutu is seeking two reliable Production Operators for a busy food manufacturing operation. One day shift (8am–4pm) and one night shift (midnight–8am), both Monday to Friday.

You will operate production machinery, process and pack products, perform quality checks and maintain a clean, safe workplace. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, reliability and teamwork, with full health insurance support.

We are seeking two reliable and motivated Production Operators to join a busy food manufacturing operation based in Te Awamutu. Our client has two positions available - one day shift (8am - 4pm) and one night shift (midnight - 8am). Both shifts are Monday to Friday.

These are hands-on roles where you will be responsible for operating production machinery, processing and packing products, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up, operating and monitoring production machinery.
• Processing and packing products accurately and efficiently.
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring packaging standards are met.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work environment.
• Completing production documentation and following established procedures.
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.

What we're looking for:

Ideally, you will have previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

You will also bring:
