Job summary

The Arnott's Group is seeking reliable Operations Team Members for the Afternoon Shift at our Avondale site in Auckland. This hands-on role supports all production and packaging activities to deliver high-quality products safely.

You will handle material preparation, machine operation, line changeovers, and cleaning while adhering to GMP and food-safety standards. A strong team mindset and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, production or packaging environments preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with ingredient preparation, line setup, changeovers, and packing activities.
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Complete production records and quality checks accurately.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Support end-of-shift cleaning and housekeeping activities.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll be involved in material preparation, machine operation, packing, line changeovers, cleaning, and continuous improvement activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and food safety.
