Job summary

Cleanco Truckwash Tauranga is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage the day-to-day running of our Mount Maunganui wash facility and mobile services. You will lead a team, drive morale, and focus on performance, client service, relationships and quality outcomes.

The role covers scheduling, bookings, invoicing, maintenance, and expanding our bay operations across the Bay of Plenty, while upholding NZ Health & Safety standards and delivering a premium service.

Job description

$100,000 – $130,000 pa includes Co vehicle

you manage the day to day operations of our truck wash facility and mobile services. The role will be varied with team morale and performance management being key components. Client service, relationships and quality outcomes will be additional key responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and roster a team of wash and support staff. Foster a positive, hard-working team culture and manage performance.

Oversee daily workflow, manage bookings & invoices, and optimise vehicle turnaround times to ensure maximum wash bay efficiency. Manage the mobile wash operation.

Maintain and grow current and new clients across the Bay of Plenty Region. Interact with leaders of Transport companies, create opportunities and deliverables to grow the business.

Ensure wash quality is monitored and maintained to ensure the best possible client outcomes.

Comply with safety-first culture. Ensure strict compliance with all NZ health and safety regulations, manage hazard identification, and maintain clean site records.

Monitor and manage on-site maintenance program for Wash equipment, Blasters, Pumps, and water treatment systems. Keep the maintenance and repair programs in house where possible and maximise equipment uptime.

About you

Previous senior experience in the transport, logistics or industrial services sectors.

Customer relationship management experience with the ability to both maintain and grow sales and services.

Good mechanical skills with a can-do attitude to assist manage and maintain equipment.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage staff and client challenges as they arise.

The ability to train and delegate tasks and roles to senior staff.

A solid understanding of NZ Health & Safety protocols and a commitment to keeping the team safe.

Full drivers licence and any driving experience or class 5 licencing would be preferred.
