Job summary

DX Mail in Wellington seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our mail processing team and ensure flawless delivery operations. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Wellington Area Manager and covers end-to-end performance, workforce planning, onboarding, rostering, safety, and reporting.

You will drive continuous improvement, cost control, and team development while collaborating with leadership and frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading operational teams in mail processing, logistics, or similar environments.
• Strong skills in workforce planning, rostering, and managing labour costs.
• Ability to onboard, coach and develop diverse teams to meet performance targets.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations with a zero-harm mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and data-driven reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Wellington processing teams to drive end-to-end operational performance.
• Plan workforce, rosters, onboarding and training for staff.
• Manage labour cost, safety compliance, and reporting accuracy.
• Oversee mail sorting and dispatch; support billing accuracy and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost control while developing the team.
