AA New Zealand is seeking an experienced Operations Delivery Manager to lead a Wellington-based team and manage a regional network of contractors and partners. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Mobility services, balancing safety, service levels, and commercial outcomes.

This senior role offers autonomy, hands-on leadership, and accountability for regional performance. You’ll engage with internal stakeholders and drive practical improvements across the region.

What You'll Be Doing | M'ō te Tūranga

As an Operations Delivery Manager (Internally known as a Delivery Manager), you’ll play a key role in leading the operational delivery of AA Mobility services across your region. You’ll have a core group of Wellington‑based direct reports, while also being accountable for leading relationships across a large, diverse, and geographically dispersed network of contractors and operational partners.

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role with real scope and autonomy. You’ll be expected to show strong visibility, accountability, and ownership for your area of responsibility - knowing what’s happening on the ground, addressing issues early, and driving practical solutions.

In This Role You Will

• Provide visible, confident leadership to your Wellington‑based team while owning relationships across a wider regional network.
• Take accountability for the end‑to‑end performance of your region, balancing service delivery, people leadership, safety, and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure effective and efficient delivery of Mobility services, meeting service standards and customer expectations.
• Contribute to regional strategy, operational planning, and budget management.
• Build strong, credible relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including contractors and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and challenge the status quo, implementing practical, sustainable improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
