Job summary

SmartGrass NZ is seeking an Operations Coordinator to be the conductor of our busy NZ-wide operations. You’ll own the process from sale handover through to job completion and final close‑out, coordinating people, materials, and schedules to keep projects in rhythm.

You’ll sit between sales, installers, and suppliers, bringing clarity, calm, and timely updates to clients, while leveraging smart systems and AI tools to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating operations in a busy project-based environment.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication for direct conversations with clients and installers.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools as part of daily work.
• Ability to read room, manage schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan jobs from sale handover through final close-out.
• Coordinate resources, ordering materials, and scheduling installers.
• Update clients and maintain clear communications.
• Collaborate between sales, installers, suppliers, and clients to maintain rhythm.
