Job summary

Dangerous Goods Management (DGM) is seeking an entry-level candidate in Auckland to learn from experts in a fast-growing field of dangerous goods consultancy, packaging, and certification. The role spans office, warehouse, road, and on-site customer work, with training across DG processes.

Attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential as you document, label, pack, and review DG consignments for Air, Road and Sea transport for local and international customers.

Qualifications

• Sound educational results.
• The ability to learn quickly.
• Driver's license to at least Restricted level.
• A clean Police Record.

Responsibilities

• Complete and check documentation, labeling, packaging for Dangerous Goods consignments for Air, Road & Sea transport.
• Consultation and auditing of Dangerous Goods processes.
• Providing cover or additional support to our busy courier operations.
• Data entry management and general warehouse duties including stocktaking and general housekeeping.
• Other ad-hoc duties.

Dangerous Goods Management is a fast-paced, growing business that offers consultancy, packaging and certification services for both national and international Dangerous goods consignments.

This is an exciting entry level position where you will learn from and be mentored by the industries foremost experts. It requires someone who is prepared to work in a range of disciplines; in the office, the warehouse, on the road and onsite with customers. Attention to detail is imperative as this role incorporates processing Dangerous Goods consignments for Air, Road & Sea transport for which are dispatched to both national and international customers.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Completing and checking of documentation, labeling, packaging for Dangerous Goods consignments for Air, Road & Sea transport. (Full training provided).
• Consultation and auditing of Dangerous Goods processes
• Providing cover or additional support to our busy courier operations
• Data entry management and additional general warehouse duties as required including stocktaking and general housekeeping
• Other ad-hoc duties.
