Red Hat New Zealand Limited is seeking an experienced Architect specialising in OpenShift to join our Auckland office. You will act as a solution lead for delivery teams, defining goals and tasks for successful project completion while balancing hands‑on delivery with client expectations.

In this role, you will participate in pre‑sales activities, deliver cloud‑native solutions, mentor peers, and contribute to Red Hat’s consulting growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (Kubernetes, container security, cloud‑native architecture).
• Deep understanding of OpenShift, operators, built‑in tools and GitOps, Pipelines, Service Mesh and Observability.
• Experience with RedHat products such as RHEL and Ansible Automation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standard OpenShift and cloud‑native solutions for enterprise clients.
• Lead Discovery Sessions and collaborate with pre‑sales and sales teams on delivery approaches.
• Explain project architecture and container strategies to stakeholders and drive delivery tasks.
