Job summary

Tuatahi is seeking a Solution Architect in Auckland to shape and maintain the architecture of solutions from discovery through delivery. You will work across business, delivery and technology teams to develop pragmatic end-to-end solutions within established architectural directions.

The role requires guiding non-functional requirements, communicating architecture clearly, and ensuring alignment with approval patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solution Architect or comparable technical architect delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Strong practical experience with integration, APIs, event-driven architecture and data flows.
• Ability to shape non-functional requirements and evaluate options, risks and dependencies.
• Proven track record working with Product Owners, Business Analysts and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage during discovery to understand business problems, requirements and outcomes.
• Architect pragmatic end-to-end solutions across application, data, security and infrastructure.
• Provide timely architectural guidance and ensure delivery remains within boundaries.
• Communicate decisions and trade-offs clearly through fit-for-purpose documentation.
• Collaborate across enterprise, solution and delivery teams to maintain alignment.
