Job summary

Red Hat, Inc. seeks an Architect specializing in OpenShift to join our Auckland, New Zealand office.

You will act as a solution lead for delivery teams, defining goals and execution tasks for successful cloud-native projects, while blending hands-on delivery with customer expectation management. Responsibilities include leading Discovery Sessions, supporting pre-sales activities, mentoring peers, and contributing to Red Hat’s consulting practice growth in the APAC region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Deep understanding of OpenShift, its operators, built‑in tools and automation capabilities.
• Experience with GitOps, Pipelines, Service Mesh and Observability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated client-facing consulting or technical architecture background.
• Lead Discovery Sessions and collaborate with pre‑sales and sales teams on delivery approaches.
• Explain project architecture and container strategies to stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Mentor peers up to Architect level and share knowledge.
