Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy invites a Certificated English teacher to deliver English and Media Studies to Years 9-13 through live virtual classrooms. This fully remote role supports a pioneering online schooling initiative across Aotearoa, combining Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE and NCEA curricula with personalised learning.

Applicants should hold NZ Teaching Registration and a teaching qualification, with experience in IGCSE and online or blended learning.

Qualifications

• NZ Teaching Registration is required.
• A teaching qualification with subject expertise in English and/or Media Studies.
• Strong knowledge of the NZ national curriculum (NCEA Levels 2-3) and IGCSE experience.

Responsibilities

Teach engaging English and Media Studies through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
