Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy in New Zealand seeks a Certificated teacher for Secondary (Years 7-15) / wharekura to deliver English and Media Studies to Years 9-13 through live virtual classrooms. This fully remote role supports Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 from anywhere in Aotearoa.

You will design personalised learning experiences, build relationships online, collaborate with an innovative team, assess progress, and report to families, contributing to a pioneering tuition-free high school.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ Teaching Registration and teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3) and ability to teach English and Media Studies.
• Experience delivering IGCSE and online/blended learning is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Teach engaging English and Media Studies through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
