Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is a New Zealand online high school offering free tuition, delivering English to Years 9–13 through live virtual classrooms. The role is fully remote from anywhere in New Zealand, supporting a flexible, wellbeing-focused learning community.

You will design engaging English lessons aligned with Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2–3, while leveraging AI tools and educational technology to enhance student outcomes and engagement.

Qualifications

• New Zealand teaching registration is required.
• English teaching qualification and subject expertise are essential.
• Experience teaching IGCSE is preferred.
• Experience with online or blended learning environments is essential.

We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.

Teach engaging English through live virtual classrooms to Years 9 to 13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 to 3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.

What we’re looking for

• strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2 to 3).
