Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is recruiting for a Certificated Social Sciences teacher to deliver Year 9-13 curriculum through live virtual classrooms. You will design personalised learning experiences and build strong relationships with students in a fully remote setting from New Zealand.

You will collaborate with a skilled team, support progress through differentiated instruction, and provide constructive assessments aligned to curriculum goals.

Qualifications

• New Zealand teaching registration is required.
• Teaching qualification and subject expertise in social sciences.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA Levels 2-3.
• Experience with online or blended learning.
• Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms.

Aotearoa Infinite Academyis New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, pioneering accessible, world-class education for students in Years 9 to 13 across all of Aotearoa. We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.

Teach engaging history through live virtual classrooms to Years 9 to 13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 to 3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
