Job summary

Geneva Healthcare is seeking an Experienced Support Worker to assist a young boy with complex needs in Stanmore Bay, Auckland. You will work across home, school, and community settings to promote participation, independence, and wellbeing.

You'll join a collaborative team with family, educators, and therapists to provide high-quality care and build a meaningful relationship with the child.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or people with disabilities.
• Experience working in schools or educational settings.
• Experience supporting children with complex physical needs.
• Full NZ Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support across home, school, and community settings.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily routines while maintaining dignity.
• Support communication using AAC and other methods.
• Collaborate with family, school staff, and therapists to deliver consistent care.
• Follow individual support plans to ensure safe, engaging support.
