Placements24 is seeking a results-oriented Management Consultant with a specialization in Operations Excellence to join their team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will analyze client operations, identify optimization opportunities, and implement practical solutions that improve performance and reduce costs across diverse industries.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of experience in operations consulting, with proven Lean and Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations consulting or leading operational improvement initiatives.
• Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, essential for on-site client work.
• Experience working within diverse industrial sectors, preferably in the South African context.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client operational processes, supply chains, and production systems to identify performance gaps.
• Develop and implement strategies for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Utilize methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing operational improvements and ensuring sustainable change.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress.
• Present findings and recommendations to client leadership, advocating for necessary operational changes.
