Job summary

New Zealand Post Group in Taupo is seeking an on-call Delivery Agent to support peak periods. You will deliver mail and parcels across Taupo using an E-Bike or motorcycle, working with a dedicated team to ensure timely, accurate service.

Flexibility is essential, with shifts across Monday to Saturday 06:30–15:55. Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and may undergo drug testing and security checks. Pay is $27.86 per hour, paid fortnightly.

Qualifications

• On-call availability to work across Monday to Saturday 06:30–15:55.
• High numeracy and literacy to handle addressing information.
• Strong health and safety awareness for self and colleagues.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to cover peak periods.
• A passion for getting the job done accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels to customers on Taupo routes.
• Sort and process mail at the Taupo depot before delivery.
• Operate an E-Bike or motorcycle to complete deliveries.
• Collaborate with the delivery team and support staff as required.

As the face of NZ Post out in the community, you'll connect with our customers as you deliver their mail and parcels. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll process and sort mail from our Taupō depot, before going it alone out on your delivery route, using a E-Bike or Motorcycle; rain, hail or shine! This role will cover employee's sick, annual leave and busy periods.

Delivery Agents are a hardy bunch, all united by one mission –to deliver for New Zealand.
