We are recruiting for an Occupational Health Lead based in either our Auckland or Wellington National Office.
As an occupational health subject matter expert, you will help People Leaders create healthy, safe and sustainable work environments for their teams. Working across a diverse workforce, you'll provide practical advice and guidance on work-related health risks, workplace adjustments, recovery at work, and supporting kaimahi through injury, illness and other healthcare needs.
You will build leader capability by developing guidance, tools and resources that help managers confidently navigate health-related situations and support positive outcomes for both kaimahi and the organisation. This includes helping leaders understand medical recommendations, manage complex health-related situations, and identify suitable workplace accommodations that enable people to remain connected to meaningful work wherever reasonably practicable.

This includes contributing to health risk assessments, developing health monitoring programmes, analysing health trends and providing recommendations that support a healthier and safer workplace.
You’ll also provide occupational health expertise to projects, policy development and organisational initiatives that improve the wellbeing of our people and contribute to a positive health and safety culture across Kāinga Ora.
