Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities in Wellington is seeking two experienced People Partners to join our People Services team. You’ll partner with leaders to influence people outcomes, deliver strategic and operational initiatives, build high performing teams, and foster inclusive workplaces.

As trusted advisors, you’ll provide guidance across the employee lifecycle, manage complex ER matters, and help shape leadership capability within a large, complex organization.

Qualifications

  • Combination of strong HR expertise and relationship management.
  • Significant experience in HR and employment relations within large, complex organisations.
  • Experience managing complex ER matters, investigations, change processes, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ability to coach, influence and challenge leaders constructively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to building inclusive workplaces and supporting positive people outcomes.
