Job summary

OneStaff is currently seeking experienced and reliable Construction Workers to support a range of residential, commercial, and civil construction projects across New Zealand. You will work alongside qualified tradespeople and site teams, assisting with various construction activities and site duties.

Successful candidates have a minimum of 12 months hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, teamwork, and a commitment to health and safety on-site.

Qualifications

At least 12 months of hands-on construction experience.
Experience across one or more construction environments: building, carpentry, civil, residential, commercial, finishing trades.
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform hands-on construction work.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and teamwork.
Commitment to health and safety on-site and willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople.

Responsibilities

General building and construction work.
Assisting builders, carpenters, and site teams.
Supporting a range of construction activities across residential, commercial, and civil projects.
Site preparation, clean-up, and material handling.
Operating hand and power tools.
Loading and unloading construction materials.
Following site plans and instructions.
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
Assisting with groundwork, formwork preparation, and general site support.
Supporting construction teams with a variety of duties as directed by supervisors.
