Job summary

ASSA ABLOY New Zealand is seeking an IT Service Delivery Lead / Systems Administrator to drive IT services across the New Zealand operations, partnering with leadership and regional teams. You will stay hands-on across infrastructure, cybersecurity, and projects to deliver reliable technology outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT service delivery, systems administration or infrastructure support within a multi-site environment.
• Lead or coordinate IT initiatives, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and Azure environments.
• Experience supporting server, network, cloud and end-user technologies.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Exposure to IT service management practices including incident, problem and change management.
• Experience using service management platforms such as ServiceNow or similar tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse portfolio of operational and strategic IT responsibilities across New Zealand operations.
• Partner with business leaders to align technology priorities with operational objectives.
• Manage and maintain server, cloud, network and infrastructure environments for reliability and performance.
• Coordinate the resolution of incidents, service requests and complex technical issues across multiple support teams.
• Lead local technology projects including infrastructure upgrades, system deployments and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Monitor service performance, identify recurring issues and implement sustainable improvements.
