Bidfood Waipapa is seeking a Nightshift Team Leader (2IC) to work alongside the Nightshift Manager and guide our warehouse through the night. This hands-on role keeps you on the floor with the team, solving problems and ensuring orders are picked, packed, and loaded on time.

You're ready to step up, bring people with you, and build your leadership career. You'll supervise, coach, onboard new staff, and support admin tasks, all while maintaining safety, quality, and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Owns responsibilities and takes initiative on busy shifts.
• Able to motivate and lead a warehouse team.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Forklift experience or willingness to develop.
• Confident with warehouse systems and computers.

Responsibilities

• Help run the nightshift and keep the warehouse moving
• Lead by example and work alongside the team
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and loaded on time
• Organise people and workload during the shift
• Coach, train and onboard team members
• Support admin and daily operations for the Nightshift Manager
• Step up and take charge when the Manager is away
• Maintain safety, quality and service levels
